Chef Jean-Georges’ Beloved Restaurant the Fulton is Finally Reopening
One of Lower Manhattan’s most heralded restaurants is finally ready for its post-lockdown return. The Fulton (89 South Street), chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s seafood-focused culinary marvel at the Seaport, is now open again with an expanded patio for outdoor dining, but the same gorgeous views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River at Pier 17.
The restaurant’s menu has been celebrated by seafood lovers citywide; it made the New York Times list of top 10 dishes in the city last year. Vongerichten has called it “the sexiest menu in New York City.”
The menu at The Fulton still includes its famed seafood options, including Warm Octopus and Fresh Mozzarella, Everything Crusted Calamari in Jalapeno-Avocado Dipping Sauce, Friend Hopper Shrimp with Lemon and Champagne Aioli, Swordfish Scallopini and much more.
Book a table here, and get a taste of this neighborhood icon from last year’s Downtown Alliance video on The Fulton:
