Lunch Hour Just Got Better: Taim Is Back Open
Life is coming back into the neighborhood every day, and now so is delicious falafel.
Beloved lunch spot Taim has reopened its location at 75 Maiden Lane.
The eatery — which offers satisfying servings of falafel sandwiches, cauliflower shawarma, sabich, tasty fries and more — had been closed for a little while as COVID-19 kept everyone indoors and out of their usual workday routines. But with some offices opening back up they are back to serving their vegan and vegetarian delights. The chain also added a meatier option last year, though it’s still plant-based: an Impossible Kebab.
Taim is open Monday–Friday, 11a–8p. To celebrate the reopening, all pickup or in-store orders will receive a free Tractor organic beverage.
If you’re not ready to order out yet, find out how to make Taim’s eggplant sabich salad and cauliflower shawarma from our Dine Around Downtown: Cooking At Home Edition video with owner and chef Einat Admony here.
