A List of the Public Bathrooms in Lower Manhattan

UPDATE, 11/1/2022: An updated list of Lower Manhattan restrooms can be found here!

The warmer months have arrived, and we get it: you want to go outside — safely! — and absorb all the vitamin D without retreating if nature calls. But, if you do need to make a pit stop, here’s a handy list of public restrooms that are open in Lower Manhattan.

—Teardrop Park (inside the Solaire Building)

—Wagner Park (located north of Historic Battery Park, off Battery Place)

—Staten Island Ferry Terminal (4 Whitehall Street)

—Pier 11 / Wall St. Ferry Terminal (South Street)

—The Battery Comfort Station (Battery Place and Washington Street)

—Brookfield Place (230 Vesey Street)

Please remember to keep your mask on during your public restroom outings, put the lid down when finished (if there is a lid) and afterward wash your hands thoroughly. That means lather with soap for 20 seconds and rinse with water, per the CDC. And if you happened to use your cell phone during this time (ugh), please remember to wash that thing too. Here’s how.
