To help businesses better prepare for New York City’s first-phase reopening, the Department of Small Business Services is offering two webinars this week.

Guidelines For Reopening ​Businesses – Wednesday, June 17, at 12p

The first webinar will focus on helping businesses understand the requirements and best practices for reopening. First-phase businesses include construction, wholesale trade, agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting, manufacturing and retail (city and state guidelines for retail can be found here).

The webinar topics to be covered include:

—State requirements for reopening

—Recommendations and best practices for reopening

—Employee support

—Compliance and enforcement

—Resources available to help your business

This webinar will also be conducted Friday, June 19, at 10a and Monday, June 22, at 6p. Register here.

The second webinar is a chance to hear directly from business leaders — a conversation with business owners and industry leaders from manufacturing, construction and curbside retail to hear what has been working best for reopening and get sound advice on how to operate safely. Register here.
