Pet Supply Shops Are Essential Businesses: Support Petropolis

Animal lovers in Lower Manhattan are spending a lot more time with their companion animals these days, what with the stay-at-home orders. Thankfully, Petropolis, on 91 Washington Street, is still trying to stay afloat so as to keep your furry family members well-fed, fully supplied and full of treats.

The shop is currently offering sidewalk pickups for all your animals’ needs approximately once or twice a week, and has also launched a GoFundMe to bolster the shop’s revenue so it can continue to serve Lower Manhattan’s fluffy residents.

Here are some four-legged Downtowners who regularly enjoy all Petropolis has to offer.

It’s always best to support local endeavors, but especially right now, as shipments of pet products from online suppliers can be backed up, not to mention an extra strain on busy warehouse and delivery workers right now. And whatever you can donate to Petropolis is appreciated.
