Make Your Own Comics At The Battery Park City Library

What’s (possibly) better than Saturday morning cartoons? Learning how to make your own comics on two upcoming Thursday afternoons. The New York Public Library’s Battery Park City branch hosts these free workshops to teach kids, from ages 5 to 12, how to tell stories using Pixton, a popular and easy-to-use online comic and storyboard program. January 23 and 30, 4p. First come, first served. Free with your library card.

And, seriously, apply for a New York Public Library card if you haven’t one — lotta good stuff inside that place.
