What’s not to love about Thanksgiving break? The fall festivities welcome time with loved ones, days away from the cubicle and, if given the chance, an opportunity to treat yourself. We may not be able to help you check off the first two, but here’s a run-down of some highlight events in our neighborhood to help you do Turkey Day.

The Four Seasons Hotel’s Martinis and Mistletoe
Enjoy a luxury couples’ stay at the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown. Their festive Martinis and Mistletoe package includes a VIP shopping experience at Brookfield Place and Westfield World Trade Center as well as priority access to One World Observatory and a four-course dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT.

Thanksgiving at Temple Court
Wanna skip kitchen detail and instead splurge on November 28? Tom Colicchio’s Temple Court has lined up a three-course prix fixe menu of reimagined Thanksgiving classics: appetizers range from Waldorf with honeycrisp, apples, walnuts, grapes and arugula to Hamachi with sea urchin and mushrooms; entree choices include wild salmon, diver scallops, a dry-aged sirloin and, natch, a free-range Narragansett turkey with roasted mushrooms, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy. The menu is $125 per person ($65 for children 12 and under). Reservations are available from 1 pm to 8 pm.

Thanksgiving Dinner To Go
If leaving your apartment on Thanksgiving seems too daunting (we’re not judging), Le District has you covered with their holiday catering. Go the full nine yards with their $350 pre-cooked meal package or pick your poison of dishes like a whole turkey, maple whipped potatoes and pumpkin pie.

Evacuation Day Annual Commemoration
Walk off the L-tryptophan while learning about Downtown’s colorful history during Lower Manhattan Historical Association’s Evacuation Day Annual Commemoration. On November 29, witness a Revolution-era reenactment in honor of New York’s liberation from British occupation.

Beaubourg French brasserie at Le District

Another mouth-watering spread that includes maple-whipped sweet potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts with bacon and pearl onions. Prix fixe is $58 per person — check the menu for more details.

Malibu Farm at the Seaport

If turkey’ed out by the final Thursday of the month, consider Malibu Farm’s rock salt herb-roasted prime rib. The dinner is $65 per person ($15 for children).
