Celebrate Father’s Day in Lower Manhattan This Weekend

Father’s Day is this Sunday and Lower Manhattan restaurants are the perfect place to celebrate with Dad. Several of the neighborhood’s best spots have even created special menus for day! Reservations are strongly suggested at all locations as seating is limited.

Acqua

This Seaport District restaurant, known for its menu of contemporary Italian dishes, has put together a scrumptious three-course prix fixe this Father’s Day. For $65, you’ll get your choice of carpaccio or chilled green zucchini and parsley soup for an appetizer, entrees that include agnolotti and red snapper, and dessert offerings of flan or torti di ricotta. Their usual brunch menu will also be available.

Beaubourg

Can’t swing a trip to Paris for Father’s Day? Take him to the next best thing – Beaubourg. This French restaurant will transport you from the banks of the Hudson to the River Seine. There’s escargot, Chicken Paillard and Brioche Pecan Bread Pudding. They’ll also be raffling off a Davidoff Cigar Storage and Bar Tool Kit!

Del Frisco’s

Treat Dad to the restaurant known for premiere cuts from their Double Eagle Steakhouse. To celebrate the holiday, Del Frisco’s will open at 10a and their dinner menu which features steaks like the 14 oz. Bone-In Filet as well as the market catch of the day and Kale & Brussel Sprouts Salad, will be available all day. The menu will feature include a Father’s Day addition – a 22 oz. Bone-In Ribeye.

Nobu

If Dad is a sushi aficionado, there’s no better spot to take him this Sunday than Nobu. Located in the historic AT&T Building, the restaurant has come up with a menu of “limitless indulgence of Nobu Favorites”.  Among those indulgences include Rock Shrimp Tempura, Signature Sushi options like White Fish Dry Miso and Classic Hot Dishes that include Chicken Teriyaki and Vegetable Spicy Garlic. This menu is available in the dining room from 11:45a-3p. The Father’s Day brunch menu costs $90 per person and $40 for children under 12.

Palm

Looking for that old-school New York feel? Drop by The Palm on West Street this Sunday for their selection of prime-aged steaks, Nova Scotia lobsters and Italian fare. Their menu will include two additions for the day – 16 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon with Whistlepig Peppercorn Sauce and a Reverse Manhattan that features Vermouth, 10 year old Whistlepig Rye Whiskey, Bitters and a Brandied Cherry.
