Hop to Lower Manhattan for Easter

Put the Peeps down. Keep the jelly beans in the bag. This Easter, the best meals for celebrating the holiday are in Lower Manhattan. Restaurants across the neighborhood have special brunch offerings that will make you hop downtown like you’re chasing the Easter Bunny.

2West

Step inside the The Wagner’s New American restaurant, 2West for a buffet style brunch that runs from 12:30-5:30p. Fill your plate with offerings that include fresh salads, Herb Roasted T-Bone Chops, chef-prepared omelets and more. Adult buffet tickets are $115 while children under 12 can eat for $50.

Beaubourg at Le District

Add a French flair to your Easter brunch. Le District’s Beaubourg features a $42 prix fixe for adults that includes Truffle Mushroom Bisque, Omelette de Langouste and Black & White Cake. A kids prix fixe is also available for $15.

The Capital Grille

The legendary steakhouse has an Easter menu filled with brunch classics. Among the hits are Jumbo Shrimp and Grits, Lobster Frittata and Fried Chicken and Waffles. Soft drinks like fresh squeezed juice, select teas and coffees are included for $49 for adults. Kids pay $15. Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Peach Bellinis will be available for $9.

Harry’s

This Hanover Square mainstay is celebrating Easter with a $48 prix fixe menu. Select from dishes that include Crispy Beau Soleil Oysters, Roasted Rosemary Leg of Lamb and Apricot Glazed Fresh Ham. Make sure to save room for dessert where you’ll get to choose between Lemon Meringue Pie or a Homemade Strawberry Shortcake. Their a la carte menu will also be available that Sunday.

Sugarfina

Sugarfina is doing their best Easter Bunny impersonation this Easter. Forty dollars gets you a special basket of goodies for the kids. The bunny-themed basket comes with two cubes, a chocolate bar and a surprise basket. Make sure to reserve these fun gifts in advance.

Temple Court

Celebrate Easter in the luxurious Temple Court. The Tom Colicchio-helmed restaurant is serving a three-course prix fixe brunch that is $50 for adults and $40 for children. The menu features Deviled Eggs, Salmon a la Oscar and Eggs Benedict. The brunch service runs from 11a-4p.

Tuck Room

Treat yourself this Easter to a Bloody Mary at The Tuck Room. Located inside the Seaport’s iPic movie theater, The Tuck Room’s Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar will be available from 11a-3p. Pair your cocktail with options from their “Soulful Social Plates” which include Herb Roasted Chicken and Mediterranean Turkey Burgers. A Hipster Bunny will be onsite for photo ops and there will be hourly Easter Egg hunts.
