A New York without crowds, especially during the holiday season, feels pretty alien. But one of the major benefits of NYC museums’ reduced-capacity mandates in the Age of Covid is that, if you do get in a visit to one of this city’s top cultural institutions, you can have a rare intimate experience. Case in point: the 9/11 Memorial & Museum is offering visitors an opportunity to explore exhibitions after-hours during its designated “Community Evenings.”
The museum is offering these evenings to New Yorkers and those with close connections to September 11 every Monday, and as fellow Downtown community members, they’re generously granting this opportunity to us as well. On December 14, you can procure your special “Community Evening” ticket to the museum through an exclusive ticket portal on its website, with 3:30p or 4p entry times available. More details to come, but pencil the date in now.
