Valentine’s Day is just a few days and you don’t have to look far to find ways to celebrate. Lower Manhattan restaurants have cooked up some delicious options for Valentine’s Day. Here’s what’s happening Thursday:
Add a dose of Milan to your evening with dinner at 10 Corso Como. The Italian fashion store’s restaurant is offering a $75 five-course prix fixe dinner that includes Ravioli di Babarietola and Carpaccio di Capasanta as well as a complimentary glass of champagne. Reservations are required and seatings are going fast.
Bellini, the Mr. C Seaport Italian restaurant, has a special holiday prix fixe that will be available at both lunch and dinner. The four course menu is $75 and features Beef Capaccio with Black Truffle and Beet Potato Gnocchi with Brown Butter & Smoked Ricotta. Turn the holiday into a staycation with a night at the hotel with a package that includes a welcome bottle of champagne and breakfast the next morning.
Eataly has two options for your Valentine’s Day celebrations. Osteria della Pace’s kitchen will be turning out romantic dishes from 5:30-9:30p. Options include Sea Urchin Linguine and Costolette d’Agnello. Over at La Pizza & La Pasta, Eataly’s biggest restaurant is celebrating with heart-shaped pizzas, specialty cocktails and more.
Harry’s is offering diners a $105 prix fixe menu that includes your choice of canapés, pasta duo entree and dessert. Options include Crispy Beau Soleil Oysters, Chitarra Spaghetti and Veal Porterhouse. Caviar service with two ounces of American Sturgeon can be added for $95. You can even arrange to have your champagne waiting for you at your table.
Work with your hands at Haru on Valentine’s Day with their Single Sushi and Saki 101. Learn the basics of maki- and nigiri-making with other singles while trying out different kinds of sake to go along with the rolls. Tickets are $75.
Nobu Downtown is giving you the chance to indulge this Valentine’s Day. Indulge with a six-course Omakase menu. The Nobu-style sushi and sashimi tasting menu with include Grilled Wagyu Steak and King Crab Leg with Nobu Egg Sauce and Perigord Black Truffles. The menu is $175 per person and advanced reservation is required.
Dinner at Temple Court comes with live jazz, a photo booth and wine pairings. The five-course, $119 menu includes Maine Lobster, Black Truffle Raviolo and Tournedos Rossini. Add the wine pairing for an additional $70 per person. The first seating is at 5:30p and the last seating is at 10p.
After dinner, take to the ice! Stop by the Rooftop at Pier 17’s Winterland for an evening of unlimited ice skating that comes with views of the Brooklyn Bridge. They are also offering a Veuve Clicquot VIP Package that gets you a glass of Rosé Champagne.
