It seems like millennials are taking over one of the oldest games of thrones: CHESS
Twenty-five-year-old reigning world chess champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway and 26-year-old Sergey Karjakin of Russia are going head to head right here in Lower Manhattan in the Fulton Market Building at the South Street Seaport.
While the throne is the objective for both players, $1.1 million is also up for grabs. The match between Carlsen (with his unusual playing tactics and patience for the perfectly-timed attack) and Karjakin (with a defense that can strike just as well) is sure to create quite the crowd.
