The entree before you is not an illusion. You are not hallucinating, you are just experiencing one of celebrity chef Tom Colicchio’s delicious creations at Fowler & Wells. As a head judge on Bravo’s hit reality cooking series “Top Chef,” and a James Beard Award winner, he has named his newest restaurant after two phrenologists who once practiced pseudoscience in the former office building now turned hotel, The Beekman.
An eatery like no other, with a gorgeous atrium in the building, stained glass windows and a comfortable upholstered bar and lounge, this restaurant brings an extra serving of opulence to fine dining.
On the menu, it’s a blast from the past with special dishes such as Beef Wellington and Lobster Thermidor. That’s not all though…there will also be a seasonal menu with dishes like chicory salad with pears, candied walnuts and Roquefort cheese, Sautéed foie gras with persimmons, pink peppercorns and bitter greens, and rabbit schnitzel with pistachios and lemon.
