The passion and wonder of poetry have a home in Lower Manhattan.
Watch as a PBS NewsHour crew takes a tour of Poets House, a library and literary center located at 10 River Terrace in Battery Park City. See the 65,000-volume library overlooking the Hudson and hear poets Cornelius Eady and Aziza Barnes explain what makes Poets House such a valuable resource for the community. Longtime Poets House supporter Bill Murray also shares his own history with poetry.
If you have never been to Poets House, it is open and free to the public Tuesday-Friday 11 A.M.-7 P.M. and Saturday 11 A.M.-6 P.M. Come to an event, stop by to view the current exhibit or spend an entire afternoon with a good book.
