Here’s how it works:

* Use your card as often as you like during the 10-day shopping and dining period.

Futures and Options

Futures and Options gives low-income, inner-city youth a chance at meaningful work experiences. The organization reaches teens at a formative time of their lives, guiding them to further their education and become contributing citizens. More than 65 percent of Futures and Options participants are from low-income families and qualify for free lunch assistance. Sixteen percent are immigrants, and 24 percent speak English as a second language.

The Downtown Alliance has remained closely associated with Futures and Options since its inception in 1995, providing resources and financial support.  Over 40 percent of Futures and Options internship business partners are located right here in Lower Manhattan.  The Downtown-Lower Manhattan Association is pleased to support this year’s inaugural run of The Opportunity Card at the Believer Sponsor level.

Your generous contribution to Futures and Options for The Opportunity Card will ensure that more NYC teens have access to career development and paid, mentored internships… and brighter futures.

If you have questions about The Opportunity Card or Futures and Options, please contact Isabelle Jetté at [email protected] or 212-601-0002.
