To commemorate the tenth anniversary of September 11, the Downtown community and all New Yorkers and visitors are invited to view here is new york @ 195 Broadway, a special memorial exhibition of more than 500 images presented by L&L Holding Company and the New-York Historical Society in the historic lobby of 195 Broadway.

Drawn from the 2001 SoHo installation here is new york: a democracy of photographs, the free, highly acclaimed exhibition—which has been viewed, in various forms, by millions of people at museums and public spaces around the world—will be open to the public from 10 AM to 6 PM, beginning Saturday, September 10 through Sunday, September 18.

Admission to here is new york @ 195 Broadway is free.  Any donations received at the exhibition will benefit Tuesday’s Children, a nonprofit organization providing support and services for the children of 9/11 and others impacted by global terrorism.

“We are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to see these powerful images in a setting very close to Ground Zero as we join together to remember the tragic events of September 11 and those we have lost,” said David W. Levinson, Chairman and CEO of L&L Holding Company.  “Our hope is that people from across the city and around the world will make time to experience this collection of remarkable photographs, which reflect images and emotions that will remain with us forever.”
