Get Up Close With Michelangelo In LM

By: Caroline De Tino

Get up close and personal this summer at the Oculus with one of Michelangelo’s most famous works of art!

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the ceiling paintings from the Sistine Chapel, painted by Michelangelo from 1508 to 1512, have been reproduced and will be on display in a special exhibit from June 23 to July 23 here in Lower Manhattan.

The paintings, which have been reproduced in their original sizes, allow the viewer to engage with and further understand the artwork. Its dimensions, closeness of the picture, and the style of the exhibit will cast an overwhelming and lasting impression on the viewer.

This limited time showing requires a ticket. So get your’s today and ensure your chance to explore the artwork at a distance impossible to achieve at the Sistine Chapel.
