Michelin Madness has arrived in Lower Manhattan, and one restaurant truly stands apart.

As the Michelin Guide released its 2017 ratings for New York City, L’Appart received a highly coveted star making it “a very good restaurant in its category.” But it is more than just a good restaurant — it is one of Lower Manhattan’s most sought-after dining destinations. Unique in its own right and living up to the title “chef’s apartment,” it offers homey accommodations along with a tasting menu that is pleasing to anyone’s palate.

So, what’s the big deal about the Michelin star? Less than 100 restaurants in the city are included in the Red Guide, and only 12 join the one-star pack. Being part of the oldest European hotel and restaurant reference guide can have a dramatic effect on the success of a restaurant. Many diners trust their reviewers and choose where to eat based on their recommendations.

So make sure to follow the Michelin star this holiday season and be appart of something delicious taking place in LM!
