Get Pretty In Pink On Governors Island

By: Dounya Guermah

On July 9th and 10th, take some time to smell (and sip) the rosé.

New York City’s first large-scale picnic and music festival dedicated to rosé wine, Pinknic will bring music, wine and food to the verdant oasis of Governors Island on July 9th and 10th from 12 P.M. to 6 P.M.

The event features numerous artists, such as Claptone, Miami Horror and many more. Bring your own picnic basket if you’d like to — either way, Governors Island summons you and your friends to enjoy a weekend unlike any other. A rose may be a rose, but there will be many choices of rosé, including Château d’Esclans and Moët & Chandon.

The ground will be covered with pink picnic blankets, and the required dress code is pink and white. It’s the perfect weekend to show off that pretty pink dress you’ve been waiting to wear! It’s all just a quick ferry ride away. For tickets and more information, visit pinknic.com
