Spring Planting 2015

By:  Samantha Orszulak

Spring is in the air in Lower Manhattan – finally!

Come celebrate the beautiful weather next Saturday, May 16th at the Downtown Alliance’s Spring Planting Day. You and your family can show off your mad gardening skills by helping us spruce up the neighborhood.

From 12 noon to 2 P.M., rain or shine, we will be planting flowers at Elizabeth H. Berger Plaza (near Trinity Place). We’ll supply the tools, plants and topsoil, along with some tasty refreshments. The only thing you need to bring is elbow grease. The free event is open to gardeners of all ages.

Get in touch with your green side and lend a hand in making Lower Manhattan fit for spring!
