Urban Outfitters Has Arrived

The clothing and accessories store that workers have been readying at the base of the new Pace dormitory at 182 Broadway opened this week in a light-filled, multi-level space.

Urban Outfitters, which has outposts throughout the city, is also a large draw for college students and younger shoppers. With a lease signed by clothier Zara just up the street at 222 Broadway, Century 21 a block away, and stores at the Fulton Center set to open later this year, this section of Broadway is fast becoming a compelling shopping destination.

Urban contains everything from trendy handbags to headbands, and offers styles for both women and men. Bring your climbing shoes to explore; the three levels of shopping will keep you going up and down their staircase. Who needs a StairMaster anyway?
