Picture Downtown

Snow on Bk Bridge 1888

Check out this shot of the Brooklyn Bridge circa 1888. Trains went over the bridge from its opening until 1948. Incidentally, the bridge shares a birthday with two of my favorite people in the world, one is my sister, can you guess the other???

Hmmm. Lots of choices here. I’m going to go with either Heavy D, Tommy Chong or Caesar… Any of those who you were thinking of?

Tommy Chong? Come on, this is a family blog. Here’s a clue:

Inside the museums, Infinity goes up on trial
Voices echo this is what salvation must be like after a while
But Mona Lisa musta had the highway blues
You can tell by the way she smiles
    See the primitive wallflower freeze
When the jelly-faced women all sneeze
Hear the one with the mustache say, “Jeeze
    I can’t find my knees”
Oh, jewels and binoculars hang from the head of the mule
But these visions of Johanna, they make it all seem so cruel

  3. Nick says:

Duh! Priscilla Presley. Should have known all along.

  4. Dan says:

    Bobby Dylan…

    There it is!
